Caroline has created paintings in oils that have been visually woven into John Jopson’s film "Les Absintheurs". The show "the Absinthe Drinkers" opens on September 17 at the Gallery McCollum in Laguna Beach and consists of portraits of the various characters, as well as landscapes and interiors of the scenes that were filmed on locations in Tuscany and France.“I’ve always considered myself an old soul,” says Caroline “and painting these characters in period costumes brings a distant past to my present…something that resonates, and evokes a strange familiarity withinme."
